Images From The Archives

Halloween before trick or treats at Wymount Terrace, in 1970, our first year there. Tara, who used to be called "Bunny, Foo Foo," was in the pink rabbit costume, about 20 months old, with Hank, 6 and Tanise, 4 both in western garb.

These photographs have been more or less "hidden in the earth." They were unearthed recently and were slide originally. I found them in a box yesterday and took them to be developed at WalMart. It made me think of my youthful years as a mother, and how shockingly thin I was then! It puts me to shame now.

It was a walk from the past and a cherished memory. The family photo was taken at Mack and Betty McIntire's, the grandparents of our brood, in Fullerton. What a nice stroll it was. Tara was a babe in arms, with Tanise about three, and Hank 4 1/2 at the time. Dad, Hank had a cast on his left foot from probably playing basketball with the Elders.

Darling pictures. You look great Mom. It is good to see that you have some sweet memories of your early motherhood.
