Cavender's , Bud & Kay
Temple, I started my day by getting up early and attended the temple and did one of my second great-grandmothers, Maxima Munoz. I was impressed at how attentive she was to me. I had several concerns in my head at the time, and I seem to get responses and answers to those concerns. I was amazed, and think she was tuned in to me. I was in awe, in that she was born over 150 years ago, about 1855!
Haircut, I went to my fried Donaire to get my hair cut. She trimmed it and as usual I am very pleased with it. I, in turn, gave her a toe nail clipping. She was happy to have me take care of them for her.
Life Coached--I went to Salt Lake today to see a friend who is great at his insight and did some suggestions for me to say several affirmations to help me. It was great to have his support and I had not seen him for about a year. I wondered why it took me so long to go back. He made an appointment for me to go back in two weeks. I have some goals I am working on for self improvement and need all the help I can get. He was very kind and it was great to sort through some of the goals I want to set and do. It was a confidence builder and he zeroed in on a couple of issues I was not aware of. Fear of success. It surprised me.
Dinner with the Cavenders--Uncle Bud & Kay were on my mind as I left Salt Lake Valley via Bangerter Highway. I gave them a call on my way out and the invited me to go visit. We ended up going out to a Mexican restaurant. I was so full, the food was delicious. I had a cream soda that was soooooo good. Ahhhh. I love cream soda. I just don't find it very often. It is always like visiting with my "gente" when I go see the Cavender's. The are like my own family, and are related by marriage, his dad married my grandmother, Anita Recio. I love that connection and they are always so warm and give lots of hugs. His kids know Hank and Tanise. Bud and Kay tell me how much Dan and Don enjoy knowing them and their visits. We caught up on all the family news.
