I woke up this morning before 6:00 am. I lied awake for half an hour and decided to just get UP! I think it was my brain reprogramming me to take action so I could start my early morning seminary schedule. I mention my desire to use that hour for personal study and exercise regularly.
I am not at home and at Tana's taking care of her children while she and Nathan are at a Trade Show in Las Vegas, until Thursday. Last night was rough for them, I noticed after Family Night at Aaron's on the way home, the girls were missing their mom, and cried half way home. I feel for them. I know what it is like to miss your parents.
We had family prayer before they went to bed and I asked for them to be comforted during this time they were without their parents. They calmed down and we ALL went to bed. I fell asleep, and Kaitlyn at my side in the king size bed. The boys doubled up in Kaitlyn's bed, Lindsay in hers and the beds side by side with boys next to her bed. Lindsay takes on the little mother role and they quieted down and went to sleep snuggled together. It was a sweet scene, and they settled down for the night.
Today will be a busy day. They ALL have their music lessons, Lindsay her violin at 8:00 am, and piano lessons after school for her, Kaitlyn and Austin. It pleases me to know they are developing their talents too, like their cousins. I know how it takes time and resources for it and the sacrifice of both. The rewards are incalculable and last for the eternities. God Bless you all.
