Saturday is a Special day to get ready for Sunday

A busy morning, Candice fixed breakfast for everyone. The kids enjoyed going out to play and went down to see the horses down the street in the pasture. They took some apples and carrots to feed them. They liked that. The weather got a little windy by early afternoon, so they played inside the rest of the time before going to the show.

We all went to a movie today and saw "August Rush" The kids loved it and I did too. It was the third time to go see it with grandchildren. I took Aislyn, Ella and Parker when it first came out. We first saw it when it first came out. Parker sat on my lap and watched the entire movie. He was an angel and didn't get out of line. He was so GOOD!

The kiddles loved the show and sat watching it eating a bottomless buttered popcorn bag. We had the first two rows to sit for the movie, which were practically the last seats available. It was almost a sell out by the time we got there and the movie had already started when we found our seats.

Getting settled for the night--

Lindsay was a big helper as she managed the boys and they look to her like a second mom. She is so good with them and they love it when she will lie down next to them at bedtime at Grandma's. She told them stories and sang them to sleep. They settled right down the second night and slept very well. Kaitlyn slept with me on a mattress pad on the floor and we all had a good sleep.

All in all it was fun for them, lots of work for Grandma! I was literally worn out by Saturday evening. I was glad tomorrow is Sunday to rest up a little.
