Sometimes I feel like I am soaring, like an Eagle--
I had an appointment with my doctor (surgeon) this morning in preparation for next week's removal of a benign growth in my colon. [I will spare you the photo]
One of the things he said was quite matter of fact: "You don't have a heart murmur." Well, that was such good news and confirmation that the other doctor, Dr. Sherm Sorenson, a cardiologist didn't tell me after he listened to my heart in July.
He is the one who declared there was no significant need to correct a hole in my heart that was NOT there.
I used to be able to hear a sloshing sound when I lied down on my back before going to sleep when I lay quietly. Such great news!!!! More confirmation that I must have had a "miraculous healing," as my doctor said today.
I also encouraged him to check before cutting on my colon that the growth is really there when he goes in. He promised he would and make sure considering another "miracle." I left with a peace of mind that he listened to my requests and to be sure he prescribed the right antibiotic as well, since I don't take penicillin.
My heart continues to be strong, healthy and beating just fine. Again, I am most grateful for the many prayers in my behalf, and to God. I notice I get stronger and stronger as I walk an hour at a time with Candice and some ladies in our ward. It's good exercise and a blessing, to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint. Amen, for tender mercies.
