Report . . . Family Genealogy

Just want to make note that I went to do baptisms for my ancestors. It was for my second and third great-grandmothers, and some great aunts besides the initiatory work for them. The names that may sound familiar are: Sotera Ordon~es, Maxima Munoz and Felicia Hidalgo, with Maria del Refugio Hidalgo. I think these are my grandmother's (Nane) aunts on her mother's side. They were from Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico.

One of the men at the baptistry pronounced Sotera Ordones name correctly. I was impressed, even though the "~" was not printed. I was able to do some for for one of my second great-grandmother's children whose name came up in my new family search, Maria Narcisa Francisca Ulloa.

It felt good to get these completed. I just have to get someone to help with the males, for baptisms, etc. These are the ones I want to have sealed for March 27th when Beth is here if everyone can plan ahead. If not, I will go and have the temple patrons assist me. It woul dbe nice also for sealing my grandmother, Nane to her parents. It may not seem like a big thing, but to her it is.

I was unaware her sealing work to her parents had not been done. It was good to know and thanks to the new programs we now have access to on the internet for temple preparation.

I saw someone I knew at the temple today and had her go through for one of my great aunts, even if I was not there. Work done is the object of this lesson.
