A Week Spent in Montana with Ron's Siblings

Two of my new sisters, Anna Marie and Elna.
We just returned back from five days with Ron's brother's and sister's and their spouses. It was the first time I met some of them. They are all so gracious and loving. The way family is and should be. We had a great time. It was amazing to visit with them, joke with them, laugh ourselves silly and share good food and stories.
Us ladies took in the sites in Virginia City and Nevada City, two old mining towns. We went on the "tour" and got the low down on the history of the locals from the Gold Rush days. We took the train ride for the eight mile trek and saw what history up close of the log cabins and a few of us panned for gold.
John made a dutch oven meal of barbeque chicken, with potatoes and italian sausage. He also made cherry cobbler everyone liked. Thanks John.

This is LeRoy and Val, the oldest brother of the Walser clan. They live in Oklahoma and drove to the "reunion."

I felt very comfortable and so grateful for the family they all are. Here are several snap shots we took that we did together. The men went fishing so I don't have pics of them, but I know they had a great time. They caught so much fish, we all had a chance to take some home with us. We had some today for dinner.

Patty at the old Espiscopal Church, St. Paul's in Virginina City. It is over an hundred years old. She and the others, Anna Marie and Elna knew all the fun places to see. They do this tour every year they go to the cabin. It was fun to shop, eat and see the sites with them.
