Several years ago a well meaning group of women gave out an empty gift wrapped box that resembled a small Christmas ornament. The idea was you cannot wrap love, or the box was filled with love.
This year my new ward gave out boxes with a list of items to fill the box for the Salvation Army food drive. It had a list of things for a Christmas dinner minus the turkey or ham. They distribute the boxes for those who are in need.
We were glad to participate. I was given the thought to wrap the outside of the box for the items. It felt good to get those as we shopped yesterday and made it ready for the family who will received it. May God bless them in their time of need. I have been on the receiving end before of the gift giving and am so thankful to be able to share our abundance.
