This is grandpa Carlos' family in 1925. He was almost six years old when this piture was taken. His mother is standing next to a little toddler, dark-haired girl; her name was Emma. She died of pneumonia I believe a short time later. Aunt Celia is the other dark haired child on the steps of Buelito's house at Portland Cement. Nane, my grandmother was expecting her last child/children. She had twins, Alicia & Elena in September 1925.
This is a unique photo from my family history file. Today was the 111th birthday of my paternal grandmother, Cuquita aka Maria Refugio Canchola. She came from Guanajuato, Gto., Mexico.
I can actually say I have been there. I will add a couple more photos soon. There is a file that needs to be downloaded that I want to get done on my paternal side.
