Worthy Goals

Just by way of explanation, I came across these goals written into an obituary for a young man who recently lost his life in drowning at Utah Lake. He was the young man who had only one hand. His hand was missing from a firecracker that by accident exploded in his hand. He was an incredible person from what I read. Here were some of what was included in his tribute and left behind his list for success. We can all learn something from another human being.

His written personal goals were:

1. People are always more important.
2. Do what you need to do when you need to do it whether you want to or not.
3. I am not a victim, ever.
4. Purity is power.
5. Leave it better than when you found it.
6. Life is a joy, a journey in becoming like my Heavenly Father.
7. Live with purpose.

Isn't it interesting how we can learn about life from death? Amazing.
